GIZ supports reforms in the VET sector
2021year. On March 26, the discussion of the package of proposals for the reform of the VET sector took place with the beneficiaries. Both competent state bodies responsible for policy development in the field participated in the discussion, as well as VET institutions and social partner private organizations.
On behalf of the German Government, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) "Private Sector Development and Vocational Education and Training in the South Caucasus" implemented by (MHR VET) vocational education and training during the program (VET:) in the field was carried out on a work-based basis (dual) study of the current state of training implementation and organization, referring to the legislative, managerial, methodological obstacles.
They participated in the event and gave their greetings to RA education, of science, Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Science of the National Assembly, education, of culture, of diaspora, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on Youth and Sports Affairs, Aram Babayan, head of the Armenian team of the "Development of the Private Sector and Vocational Education and Training in the South Caucasus" project.
The results of the study were included in a complex package of proposals and sent to the concerned government bodies, as well as VET institutions and social partner private organizations for consideration, for comments and suggestions.
Issues raised during the discussion, the presented recommendations and remarks will help the process of further reforms of the VET sector, as well as the development of a package of legislative amendments.
